I've been a huge Heroes fan since last century, and this mod is IMHO even better than most of the official Heroes 3 campaigns (expansion or otherwise). The authors just get it in terms of game mechanics, level design and balancing. HOTA is a full-fledged new campaign with a new town type, new heroes, artifacts, creatures, adventure map elements
Do not install the game in a “Program Files” folder. Click “Install”. Step 2. – ERA Gaming build installation. Download and run installation package, then select Heroes 3 Complete folder. Do not install this build on already installed versions of WoG or HotA. Click “ Install ” button. Just click Accept. A brutal collection of 2000+ maps for all versions of Heroes 3. The average player becomes quickly frustrated , pissed off and moves on from the mod. I love what it does in many ways but the lack of any interest in anyone of a lower skill even being able to try and play it defeats the point of all the upgrades.
